Norway Receives All-Climate Jan Mayen-Class OPV

The Norwegian Coast Guard has acquired the KV Bjørnøya (W311), a Jan Mayen-class offshore patrol vessel (OPV), in an acceptance ceremony at Vard Langsten in Tomrefjord.

The KV Bjørnøya is scheduled to deploy for Norway to claim its sovereignty within the Norwegian Sea alongside its sister ships.
