US Navy Receives First Flight III Arleigh Burke Destroyer

HII has delivered the primary Flight III Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer, the USS Jack H. Lucas (DDG 125), to the US Navy.

The vessel was constructed with a number of modifications to boost its functionality in comparison with the navy’s earlier guided-missile ships.
